Day Three Scrubbed
Tuesday, July 27, 2010
Well, the weather continues to give us troubles. The 18-m class was first to launch and I was first to launch. A small problem with my Airspeed Indicator caused me to land right back at the field. Fixed! Back up again and no lift ... back to the ground. Just as I was about to "re-light" for a second time, the 18-meter task cancelled. Rats!
The Open Class did get a green light for a start and headed out on course.
Everything is working well with the plane and my crew is absolutely the best. And, of course, Carol is providing the best support a pilot can ask for. Lots of morale support and "positive thinking" plus she makes the best sandwiches at the airport.
