GTA Schedule 2001
2001 Schedule
This schedule will probably have to be updated after we confirm these dates with the host sites, so plan to Check back periodically. The Chilhowee and Cordele dates are rather firm, the others are more subject to change.
Remember that you will be scored on your best 6 scores (or fewer depending on how many races are rained out) so you do not need to attend every race. Just come 3+ weekends a year to be competitive in the scoring. However the more you race the better your chances.
We picked a lot of dates this year expecting a few rain outs. [and maybe because we were excited about the spring...]

Labor 3 Day Weekend, $15 weekend fee to cover Art's expense for mowing the field. Due to previous problems, No Kids and No Dogs allowed. There are several hotels nearby at Whitwell & Dunlap, and also at the exit on I-24. Art will allow camping as well as RV hookups for both members and non-members, with the usual camping fees ($5, I believe) that he charges for showers, etc.. |

Octoberfest 2001 October 12,13,14. | Chilhowee | 2001 GTA Awards are scheduled to be handed out the Saturday nite of Octoberfest. |
Join the crowd of GTA pilots planning on attending the 2002 Sports Class Nationals in Lubbock Texas July 30-August 8th 2002. It is being held in conjunction with the the 18m Nationals, so go fly one of the 2 with us.
