NN's Training Journal

This Journal will capture my flight training goals, objectives, and progress. 

My self-assessment indicates that I need to work on ... . 

(I need to develop a training plan based on this year's evaluation and this year's lesson's learned from the flight journal below.  And, I think I need to update my self-assessment now that I have had some time to fly, analyze and think more objectively about what my strengths and weaknesses really are.)

1. Was the start time about right?
2. What were the major mistakes I made and in hindsight what would I have done differently?
3. What were the good decisions I made?
4. Did I read the clouds well, if not what was wrong?
5. Did I deviate about the right amount for the day?
6. Was I aggressive in working each thermal or did I relax during the course of the flight?
7. Could I have centered thermals quicker? How many bad circles did I make?
8. How was my cruising?  Use of streets?  Use of energy lines?  Use of Height Band?  
9. Did I make long term strategic decisions on best routes? 
10. Was my final glide about right, to fast, to slow? 
11. How did --xxxxxxxxx-- beat me, what did he do different?
